Am I Cut Out For Cosmetology School?

Do you love the beauty industry? Do you love making others feel beautiful? Do you enjoy learning new skills and creating beautiful works of art? Are you hardworking, outgoing and happy? Is one of your career goals to help people around you?
Cosmetology school could be your sanctuary.

Let's Talk About Stereotypes

Here at Douglas J Aveda Institute, we don’t believe in the “beauty school stereotypes”. We know the stigma of being a “beauty school drop out” and we want to crush it. We believe in helping our students carve their own paths to their goals. We know and understand the challenges and opposition that our students might face, but you can do this if you love it.

That’s Not to Say It’s Going to Be Easy

Despite what others may think, beauty school is a challenge and a welcomed challenge at that. Here, we’re going to push you to think outside the box, to create something new every day, to take your skills and confidence to the next level. You are going to be on your feet and you’re going to hit the books, and it’s all to chase your dream career.
