Scheduling Options:
At Douglas J Institute you can choose from day or night classes based on what you need. We want to provide you with the opportunity to do what you love, so it’s possible to make a career change while still taking care of your family or balancing other responsibilities.
Program Details:
- Program Length: 750 hours
- Day Program: Can be completed in as little as 22 weeks
- Evening Program: Can be completed in as little as 30 weeks

From PCA Skin’s clinical-grade treatments to Eminence’s organic spa favorites, you’ll work with environmentally sustainable products trusted by estheticians worldwide—so you’re prepared for any client need. You’ll also gain hands-on experience using professional tools included in our student kits, helping you feel confident from day one.
Financial Aid:
Paying for skin care school is possible at Douglas J Institute. As part of our esthiology program, financial aid is available to those who qualify. This means that it’s possible to pay for school through Pell Grants, federal loans and more. Make sure to ask our team about payment options you may qualify.

At our Knoxville location, you get an education and certification in lashes, chemical peels and dermaplane as part of our standard 750-hour program.
