Douglas J Institute is approved to participate in the Veterans Administration Education Benefit program offering classes in Cosmetology, Cosmetology Educator, Esthiology, and Esthiology Educator. Interested individuals may contact any one of our Admissions offices where we can guide you through the VA enrollment process.

Helpful information you can provide includes:

*The most common discharge status eligible to receive VA Education Benefits is either ‘Honorable or ‘General under Honorable Conditions’.

2. Understanding which ‘Chapter’ the veteran has selected for their education benefits*

*Based upon the Chapter in which the veteran has selected, VA Education Benefits may be transferred from the veteran to his/her spouse or children If you are not sure of the status of your VA Education Benefits, we can get you in contact with representatives from the federal and state VA offices that can help.
